Jessica Simpson exuded an air of mystery in a social media post Friday.
The 43-year-old, who donned short shorts and platform heels to showcase her toned legs recently, appeared makeup free in the snap she shared on Instagram.
Her long, blonde hair was pulled away from her face and she wore a black and brown animal print coat.
She held one of her hands close to her face, displaying two manicured nails.
One featured a round green stone surrounded by crystals. A gold chain was dangling from the digit.
The other featured a pale pink nail with a gold tip.

The People's Choice Award Winner has been working on some new music at her home away from home in Nashville, while also expanding her brand.

While she remains focused on music and fashion, the author received the bad news earlier this year that a TV series based on her memoir, Open Book, will not go forward, according to Variety.
The Dukes of Hazzard star was set to executive produce the project starring John Stamos and Katelyn Tarver.
